You don’t have to be afraid to give away your ideas and products for free. If your product or idea you are selling is really good, feel free to give it away. Your customers won’t be able to get enough.
This method may be compared to the way the drug dealers create drug addicts. They give the “product” away, for a while. If a company launches a new brand of tea for instance, they give it away, for a while. If a company launches a new line of cosmetic product, they give it away, for a while.
Your newsletters are some kind of proposals, or presentations. That is why it is advisable to give away some information. It can happen that some of your prospects will steal your ideas. But that is the cost of business.
You will find this method beneficial. People will appreciate your work and will be more than happy to pay you for your products. There is a golden rule. Don’t pay too much attention to your own problems. Focus instead on helping others fix their problems, and you will succeed. You don’t have to worry that somebody will take your ideas without paying for them. Instead of yelling, screaming, or crying, simply say: “I’m glad I helped.”
